Landmark College’s Research VP Receives Award from LDA

Dr. Manju Banerjee is greeted by Beth McGaw, outgoing President of LDA as she ascends the stage to accept her award at the LDA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.Dr. Manu Banjeree, vice president of educational research and innovation at Landmark College, received an award yesterday from the Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA) in "recognition and appreciation for outstanding leadership in the field of LD."

The award was presented by Beth McGaw, outgoing president, during the organization's annual conference in Orlando, Florida (right). In addition to her work at Landmark College, Dr. Banerjee has been a member of the LDA's Professional Advisory Board since 2017. She is also a member of the Professional Advisory Board for the National Center for Learning Disabilities and a member of the Microsoft Inclusive Workplace Council, among other postings.

A graduate of the Neag School of Education, University of Connecticut, Banjerjee has over 30 years of experience in the field of learning disabilities, ADHD, and postsecondary disability services. She joined Landmark College in 2012, and has published and presented extensively, both nationally and internationally, on topics such as: disability documentation and accommodations, technological competencies for postsecondary transition, online learning, and universal design. She has been and is currently principal investigator/co-principal investigator on multiple federal, foundation, and NSF grants.
