LD Book Club Reads "NeuroTribes" This Semester

NeuroTribes book coverAll are welcome to join the LD Book Club in discussing Steve Silberman's history of autism spectrum disorder: NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity n Friday, April 29 over breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m. or over lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Oliver Sacks wrote in his foreward to the book, “NeuroTribes is a sweeping and penetrating history, presented with a rare sympathy and sensitivity. It is fascinating reading; it will change how you think of autism, and it belongs, alongside the works of Temple Grandin and Clara Claiborne Park, on the bookshelf of anyone interested in autism and the workings of the human brain.”

Print and audiobook copies are available for loan at the Library. Start reading (or listening to) a copy today, and come join the discussion on April 29!
